Shipping and Returns

International Customers

Shipping quotes on Nanocustoms are for the U.S. only. For International customers interested in purchasing tanks, please contact Nanocustoms for shipping quotes.

Return Policy

Our first priority at Nanocustoms is to provide a great customer experience. To ensure customer satisfaction and avoid returns, we recommend you inquire about any product features or warranties prior to ordering. The Nanocustoms staff are courteous, well trained nano-reef enthusiasts, who are eager to assist you with any product support questions or concerns.

Original Packaging

Nanocustoms product returns will only be accepted if the product is unused and in the original retail packaging. The product must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date for an exchange, merchandise credit, or a refund (excluding shipping and handling charges). A 15% restocking fee will be charged for all returns excluding exchanges or warranty replacement items. Nanocustoms is not responsible for any additional shipping cost. A RMA number and a copy of the original invoice must be included with all product returns. To obtain a RMA number, please call us at 805-273-4793. We recommend that insurance is purchased when returning fragile or high-value products.

Damanged Items

If an item(s) is damaged during shipping, please contact Nanocustoms immediately. If you are able to, digital photographs and notes detailing the damage is helpful.

Once you contact Nanocustoms, please provide detailed information on what item(s) are damaged, Nanocustoms will then provide instructions on how to return the damaged item(s).

After Nanocustoms has received all of your information, a claim with FedEx will be filed on your behalf. Once FedEx acknowledges the claim (which takes approximately 1-3 business days), Nanocustoms will then proceed with shipping the replacement item(s) back to you using the same method in which the item(s) was originally shipped.


Note: Nanocustoms cannot upgrade shipping service on replacement items being shipped back to the customer.
